We understand just how stressful it can be for you and your family member when you have to go away, so finding the right place for them is normally more time consuming and stressful than finding a place for you to stay. So this is why we worked for nearly a year to create a place that your family members will feel completely at home, where you can feel reassured that your friend / family members will be well cared for.
We have used our years of knowledge and experience of dog boarding along with our love of pets while working closely with Epping Forest Council to ensure that we provide a happy, positive, safe, secure, functional and loving environment for your furry, four legged family member to spend some quality time with us.
All of our team have had a life time of being dog lovers and owners, looking after your friend will be our pleasure and ensuring that we make the Avey Lane Boarding Kennels their home from home while they are with us will be our goal.
We have worked hard to create a space for your friends that will be a home from home, & being set in 4 acres secure site in country side of Essex with a beautiful paddock to play in will help to make your friends stay a fun and restful one for them.
We are located within a four acre gated site that is maintained 24 hours a day, and our secure kennels are surrounded by a state of the art CCTV system, that constantly monitors the site around the clock to make sure your friends are safe and secure while the are staying with us.
Avey Lane Kennels is a family-run business with over 17 years experience in canine husbandry. Our kennels are founded on the values of loving dogs and wanting to provide the best care for them at a reasonable price.
Our Journey started in 2005 when Jack began working for Wintry Wood boarding kennels in Epping it was there Jack was trained in canine husbandry. Jack worked there for 9 years.
After leaving school and alongside his job at Wintry Wood Jack attended Writtle College completing a course in animal care and management passing with distinction.
When it comes to your four legged furry family member nothing is too much trouble, and your family member will be our new family member.
If you have any questions please do give us a call on the details below.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
At 18 Jack decided to get a dog of his own and as he was experienced with animal handling took on a Central Asian Ovcharka puppy – then a very rare breed in the UK. A beautiful girl dog who found her place in the family. This remarkable dog soon became a treasured family member and despite the statistics for an extra large breeds such as her, Xena lived a long and healthy 14 years.
Jack in his spare time takes on some dog training and dog behavioural sessions and has some great experiences of turning around a situation for his clients. Dogs that were deemed “problem dogs” and were a great stress to their owners were helped by Jack to understand their dogs better and create a happy and rewarding relationship between the owner and their dogs.
Bob is the co owner of Avey Lane Kennels.
A long time business owner Bob is hands on and a great person to speak to if you have any questions.
Bob runs the day to day administration at Avey Lane – as well as being a dog man himself he will ensure your dog is looked after just as he would his own. We can vouch that the family dog Xena, was his best friend!
