Booking & Payment

  1. A deposit will be required to secure any booking, this is non-refundable and non- transferable.
  2. No booking will be confirmed without a fully completed booking form.
  3. All animals must be wearing a collar and name tag on arrival.
  4. Any remaining amount due must be paid on day of check in.
  5. Charges are inclusive of arrival and departure days.
  6. No animal is to be dropped off or collected outside of permitted times.
  7. Management reserves the right to refuse boarding of your animal for the safety of our staff and other residents.
  8. I understand that while every care will be given to my animal, they are boarded entirely at my own risk and the management accept no liability for any injury, stress or ill-health arising from their stay.

Belongings

  1. Bedding, leads and toys can be supplied by the owner, but the kennels take no responsibility for loss or damage during the period of boarding.
  2. The Kennels are cleaned daily and toys etc are easily lost when bedding etc is changed, therefore we ask you to not leave anything precious or anything you would not want to lose
  3. Damaged or soiled bedding may be disposed of.

Health & Vaccinations

  1. All animals must have an up-to-date veterinary certificate of vaccination, proof of which will be required on arrival.
  2. Animals must have received the following vaccinations within 12 months of their check out date but more than 2 weeks from their check in date: Infectious Bronchitis (Kennel Cough), Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, Intrac.
  3. I authorise Avey Lane Boarding Kennels to call a veterinary surgeon of their choice on my behalf should it be necessary and act upon their advice. The expense incurred is to be met by the owner of the animal.
  4. The Infectious Bronchitis vaccine does not give 100% protection against Kennel Cough and the owner takes full responsibility for this. The management of the kennels will not be liable if the animal catches Kennel Cough.
  5. I accept that whilst every attempt will be made to administer medication this may not always be possible by staff due to the animal being unwilling to take the medication.
  6. Should any animal be found to hosting fleas, the person responsible for collecting the animal will be liable for all costs of treating the animal and any surrounding environment considered necessary.

Behaviour

  1. All animals must be in good condition and of pleasant temperament, we reserve the right to turn away any animal we feel is not suitable to be boarded.
  2. Owners are liable for any damage inflicted upon staff or property by their animals.

Abandoned Animals

  1. Avey Lane Boarding Kennels reserves the right to rehome or hand over to rescue kennels any animal not collected within 15 days of the stated departure date if no communication from the owner, or owner’s agent is received and if efforts to contact the owners fail.
